Northwest
The overall goal of the Northwest consortium is to improve reading proficiency of 5th through 8th grade students. Sustained professional development and continuous support for middle level staff and buildings will be provided. This professional development will focus on research-based reading strategies and incorporate the use of technologies that result in the development of improved curriculum and increased student achievement.
