Loess Hills
The goal for the Loess Hills consortium is to increase student achievement in middle level mathematics by increasing the effectiveness of middle level mathematics instruction. Integration of the five process standards (1-problem solving, 2-reasoning and proof, 3-communication, 4-connections, and 5-representations), as defined by the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics, will continue to serve as a foundation and will be supported by instructional strategies, from LtoJ. Technology will play a crucial role in the collaborative activities between and among teachers and consultants. Technology will also be used to enhance the teaching and learning environment with instructional tools and resources.
