Green Valley
The Green Valley consortium focuses on improving 4th grade reading achievement, specifically in the area of fluency. This project will also include the integration of technology into the process of reading improvement (specifically, with the use of PDAs to collect walk-through data, student diagnostic data, teacher implementation data, and technical assistance data). Through the use of professional development, teachers will receive theory, demonstration, practice, collaboration, and reflection opportunities in strategies involved in fluency.
